ReasonY Extraliga Star 2009
ReasonY in conjunction with top rated slovakian hockey site HOKEJ.SK awarded top hockey players in Slovak Extraliga. Candidates for each category were chosen by slovakian hockey journalists, but the final decision was made by hockey fans, who participated in online poll.
Zigmund Palffy, who used to play for L.A. Kings (NHL), was the top choice in two categories, Player of the Year and Forward of the Year, while Tomas Tatar, recently drafted by Detroit Red Wings (NHL), received Rookie of the Year award.
